We have designed our return and refund policy so that real customers can easily return or get their money back, while spammers and fake customers are blocked by it. so that we may provide more items to our community of loyal, trustworthy visitors. We will make every effort to give the best goods to you, eliminating the need for a return or refund.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

How to do the opening video…

  1. Keep the parcel in front and turn on the mobile video.
  2. Then you have to show the courier track.
  3. Turn the parcel back and forth very carefully to show that it is not torn/cut before delivery, the parcel is completely intact.
  4. Now tear it by hand. Do not use sticks, scissors, blades at all. There is a chance of tearing if you use them.
  5. Then the product will be checked completely. If there is any cut, please zoom in on the video and show it. Any complaint outside of the opening video is not acceptable.
  6. Do the video only once whether it is 1 minute or 30 minutes. If someone can’t give proper unboxing video then don’t complain to me.
  7. Opened video / Fake Video / Editing video not accepted. Our decision is final regarding quality of the video.
  8. If you open the parcel first and then stick it with sellotape or glue and re-video it to us, it will not be complained about except

RETURN RULES.

  1. Any product that you don’t like after order is placed will not be returned.
  2. If there is any existing tear in the product it will be returned.
  3. If you do not receive the ordered product, it must be returned.
  4. Keep in mind the product color and design may contain slight difference between the actual product and the digital image shown on the website. By placing order, you agree to it to accept the changes.
  5. Orders once placed can be canceled by the customer before the item gets dispatched. The amount will be refunded within 7 – 14 business days.
  6. Orders cannot be canceled once the item(s) have been dispatched from the warehouse.
  7. No refunds will be made once the product is delivered. If the item(s) delivered is found faulty, you must provide the 360 proper unboxing video (Process mentioned earlier steps) pointing the fault accordingly CALCUTTA MART will replace the item if we are satisfied with the video.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment or a gift card, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@calcuttamart.com and send your item to the address we will confirm via response mail.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
